It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Great piles of snows on the driveway, children happily singing carols, the sweet smell of roasted chestnuts and turkeys, cold white snowflakes blanketingthe trees, you know what time it is? It’s Christmas time! There are also bright lights blinking and hanging everywhere, big and little Santas scattered on malls and in the streets, various displays of Christmas trees and gifts underneath them, and also the parade of strung up mistletoes hanging on each door of every house on the street. It’s the month of giving and receiving and the best thing you can offer to someone is your time and love.The yuletide season is the perfect time to wear thick clothing, gather around the hearth, build snowmen, make snow angels, drink hot chocolate and almost everything else, especially if you are spending it with the ones you love the most: your family, friends, and your love or love interest (if you got friendzoned or something).
It’s not yet February but if you are caught up in the moment where all you could think of is someone who would make your Christmas and the rest of the days worthwhile, then you should at least try watching Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe” video. This video awakens the spirit of Christmas because your ears and eyes become stimulated through Bieber’s soft and sweet voice coupled with the wintery and christmasy appeal that is showcased and given off by this video.

It is clearly shown in the whole music video that the girl is somewhat lonely. Justin just tries everything to make the girl smile again. There was a part in the video where the girl got jealous over another friend and got sad but he still made up by making the girl the happiest woman on Christmas day. This video showcases that material things aren’t the only way to someone’s heart. It’s time. It’s love. It’s those intangible things seen by the heart.
