Hello new song, it's been a while.

It was only a matter of time before a new Lady Gaga song leaked.

A few weeks after Gaga started the hashtag #LG5 that sent thousands of people into a frenzy, a song has finally materialised. It's called Till It Happens To You and it's actually from the documentary The Hunting Ground, which is now showing in selected theatres across the United States.

While it's a shame nothing has yet made its way into the open from the highly anticipated #LG5 (a working title, I'm sure... praying), this song is a beautiful yet haunting track. A piano ballad accompanied with violins and Gaga's unrefined and pure vocals that are dripping with raw emotion, it's a heartbreaking track written about rape, a complete contrast to Swine, Gaga's own song on the subject that featured on her 2013 album ARTPOP. Swine is a frenzied mash-up of synthesized pop music and screaming that would be more at home in a heavy metal record (but it works together so wonderfully and is just spectacular when you hear it live). Till It Happens To You is nothing but upsetting beauty.

Unfortunately it's not due to be released on iTunes and YouTube are constantly removing videos featuring the song. Hopefully it gets the release it deserves soon.
