Money Does Look Like Love

BORNS also known by the birth name Garrett Borns recently released music video for 'American Money' dresses up and plays on our hyper realistic fantasy music tastes. The music video shows BORNS and a woman dressed in elegance, out in the twilight/night of the day and foremost showing off how they are a bit mystical simply exisiting between a parallel plane. While 'American Money' sounds as if it could go either way with a title as such, in BORNS case 'American Money' just so happens to be the color of his lover's eyes.

The comparison between BORNS and Marc Bolan, that has not gone unnoticed however, it is extrememly uncanny. Down to the voice and the musical ethereal transparency. But with 'American Money' BORNS exposes a love so true and complete this individual has picked a soulmate, to put it as simple as possible. Then again love even in the honeymoon stage can seem effortless and destined, sometimes that's true other times it comes out as a lesson to be learned.

BORNS almost sounds if he is talking in a past tense action. Or maybe BORNS is relived to have finally found the "one". A wholly capable universe where love has taste to be endured for years. And in BORNS case "swimming in the sunshine everyday" while lying on the ground being covered in moths. However in the music video after the song has ended wait a few seconds, showing BORNS and the woman lying side by side on opposite ends covered in moths. Maybe this portrays some sort of afterlife BORNS has created.
