Linkin Park announced Tuesday that it plans to stage a tribute to its vocalist Chester Bennington, who committed suicide a month ago orphaned this American rock band. The group just explained in its Facebook page that it will be a "special public event" in Los Angeles and that will release the details later. "We just wanted to thank all our fans around the world for the great love we received, which has strengthened our spirit during this incredibly difficult time," the band acknowledged. Bennington, 41, was found hanged at his Los Angeles home on July 20. The singer struggled all his life to overcome his addiction to drugs and alcohol, as well as the effects produced by the sexual abuse he suffered as a child.
