LCD Soundsystem was born great. At the turn of the century, its creators James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy were New York music lovers working as DJs and music producers who had been influenced by post-punk bands such as New Order, Suicide, The PLOOM and Siouxsie and the Banshees. In 2011 they separated but in 2016 they got together again with the promise to take out a new album and very soon they will do it. It was recently revealed that the name of the new album will be: "American Dream".
It will be the band's four album and the first in seven years that will go on sale on September 1st. Since joining in early 2016 the band was touring the major festivals in the United States, Europe, Mexico and Asia, however, were forced to cancel several dates of concerts in order to finish recording the new songs.
Months ago, James Murphy responded via Twitter to a fan question. " Will we have news about the new album soon? ". To which the Murphy replied: "Sure. We are working on it, but it will be soon. Winter usually damages my voice, so ending this was longer than expected. " He added that they were still working on the project and would soon post new news on their Facebook account.
The dance-punk band has composed three albums: "LCD Soundsystem" (2005) "Sound of Silver" (2007) "This Is Happening" (2010).
