Green Day in Colombia this year!
The US group Green Day will be back in Colombia in a single concert on Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Simón Bolívar Park in Bogota as part of their "Revolution Radio" tour.
Green Day, an American punk rock band composed of vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool, announced that he will soon meet the Colombian public again. The group, formed in 1986 in Berkeley, California, was initially attuned to the punk scene and their initial efforts were successful in 1994 with the release of the record Dookie (Reprise Records), which was well received in their country.
The band managed to arouse interest in punk rock in the United States and with its subsequent recordings consolidated an important and, above all, very faithful audience. With Insomniac (1995) and Nimrod (1997) their members sold more than two million copies and received double platinum.
