Days after passing the record in Spotify to exceed 13 million views with the simple "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", Ed Sheeran launches the first video of the year.
Filmed in his hometown, Framlingham, Suffolk, the singer recalls his adolescence and tells her happiness back home in "Castle on the Hill," which was directed by George Belfield.
Although Sheeran participates in the video, the musician is played by a young physically quite similar, having fun with her first love and her friends going to parties and drinking beer.
"I loved filming this in Fram. All children currently studying in my high school," wrote the artist to publish the video.
Both "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" will be included in the new album Sheeran -even without release-date, entitled '÷', acting 'divide' and could be translated as' split 'or' divided '.
"The third album is on its way and the best thing I've done so far," announced a few weeks ago through social networks.
It is not the first time that Ed Sheeran shares with his fans important moments of his life, as the clip of the song "Photograph" collects videos and images of him since he was a baby through adolescence.
