So successful has been the drive their leader Kevin Parker announced that one year after the release of the album, the album will have a deluxe edition.

The announcement was made through the official Instagram account of the band. Where point that will give new life to the disk with the b-sides not reached the end tracklisting, with a reissue of the album and unreleased material.

"Already a year since the album came out!" He wrote. " It seems like millions of years ago but that was yesterday. By the way, deluxe edition with faces b "is coming. It was the message left by the social network.

"Currents" has songs that sound great and already have become very important issues, as is the case of "Let It Happen", "Cause I'm a Man," "Eventually" or "The Less I Know the Better ". the album had a strong change their previous two, leaving a little psychedelia and guitars with synthesizers great importance to R & B and melodies.

Parker was commissioned to produce the album, besides playing, recording and mixing all the instruments of the thirteen songs on the album. It is said that the decision to abandon the influence of psychedelic rock had to do under the effect of hallucinogenic mushrooms that Parker was the time to listen "Stayin Alive" by The Bee Gees.
