Jack White announces the release of Acoustic Recordings with a previously unreleased track by The White Stripes

Guitarist and singer Jack White, is one of the most prolific musician of recent times, not only with a large of number of projects but also with an already prominent solo career.

Now White has announced the release of Acoustic Recordings, a compilation of alternate versions like sides B of several of his songs as a solo artist, his work with The Raconteurs well as with The White Stripes and his solo work, all recorded completely acoustic.

Within this compilation is a theme originally composed for the album by The White Stripes, Get Behind Me Satan 2005 but forgot the band before recording and Jack recently rediscovered called City Lights.

Acoustic Recordings will be released next September 9.
