Stay Happy Is Broken Social Scene's Best Message

With only a week out on the internet Broken Social Scene's newest track "Stay Happy" leaves everyone wanting more. Broken Social Scene always appeared as the coolest Indie kids in the room. "Stay Happy" pretty much proves my point. With a varied take on everyday life based on the lyrical content. "Stay Happy" sounds like the pre-introduction to a memorable party. Or at least a party that would end up becoming remarkable by the end of the night.

"Stay Happy" comes off of Broken Social Scene's Hug Of Thunder album. Since Broken Social Scene has been around since 1999. Yet, Hug Of Thunder will only be their fifth album.

"Stay Happy" has every touch of indie credentials, embedded within the track. The song does effectively offer a happy tune. By pinpointing the overlays and recorded instruments involved, "Stay Happy" sounds like a grand party. Maybe after Broken Social Scene's hiatus during 2013 lead to this 2016-2017 development. Hug Of Thunder is the kind of album a band would make after clearing the air and offering the love of distance. After a few years without touring until 2015, Hug Of Thunder is exactly what Broken Social Scene need to release. "Stay Happy" is also a great turning point for the band.

The rush of positive reinforcements is what 2017 needs. This year holds an aching ailment which needs some sort of healing. You can't listen to "Stay Happy" and not feel slightly better about everything. Broken Social Scene proves that bands/music is by far important in this developing year.

All four minutes of "Stay Happy" flows along; as if the track is this energetic force. Whether Broken Social Scene intends on leading a type of enlightening power hunt, we should all follow suit. "Stay Happy" creeps in until the verse overpowers, followed by the instrumental bliss which makes up Broken Social Scene's sound.
