BDSmith Perspective on Take on The World

Haha, fancy history question. While performing; my siganature was the Top Rop Elbow Drop in honor of Randy Savage and my finisher was the Jacknife or Spike Powerbomb variations and then the Chokeslam in later years. In contrast, the move that I hated the most was the tombstone, got spiked once.

I remember having an old record player with Disney songs on it. But, honestly, I've been listening to music all my life. My whole family does music to some extent. I'd say the first time I started really getting into music and the feel of it was when I was really young, I found 2 CD's of my mom that I would always play. Elton John's Made in England and Billie Joel's Glass Houses. Still 2 of my favorite albums :P

In 1999 I was 12. We were in our second year living in Wichita, Kansas. I was bored as shit and started looking online for how I could make music on my computer. Found myself a copy of FL Studio. Back then it was called Fruity Loops xD

A lot. So, when I started all those years ago; I started in Hip-hop/ R&B (reverbnation.com/bdsmithproductions). I didn't start gravitating towards EDM style until around 2019 after a 7 year hiatus (life). I'm still learning and have a great bunch of dudes in the Collective I'm in so I will continue to evolve and explore new soundscapes.

I would love to get members of Hot Key Collective together for a big cross country tour. From top to bottom, Headliner to opener:

Chef Shroomi
CMD ESC

Phobi
Myself (I don't DJ yet but I'll twerk to Phobi's set)

OG Skynard lineup man!

I've had 3 separate people over the years tell me that they hold on in life just for my next track. And I'm a nobody man. That hit me hard. Had the chance to meet one of them in Georgia few years back. Stay strong fam <3

Morality. And I think a lot of people lost that.

Just the love of sharing music I create with other people and hearing other musicians masterpieces as well.

This release is a a fusion of Synthwave and house. I'm starting down the journey of learning synthwave, which has long been a favorite of mine. Such artists like Kavinsky and TimeCop1983 inspired this.

A journey into the unknown. I go into each track with a melody in mind and work on it til I get bored LMFAO

A finely crafted pizza. Mama mia!

To inspire. I have a story, one that I know everyone deals with. And I overcame it. Hopefully one day I can inspire others to hold on as well.

Who is your daddy and what does he do?
