In this blog we get a chance to sit down with Tewby to learn all about the inspiration, concepts, and creative energy that it took to create and produce "Runaway". Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

Hey! My name is Tewby and I'm an EDM producer, I'm from the UK and outside of making music I actually work in project management! I got into professional production quite recently and instantly fell in love with it. I've always had a love for music and enjoyed creating things, something originating in the world of lego when I was younger I'd imagine. I first got into production about 2 years ago using LMMS (Linux Music Maker Studio) and a trial of FL Studio. At the time I wasn't too invested and couldn't get very far in the production process before giving up. It wasn't until much later when I tried Ableton and Logic Pro that I found my passion, some would call me a DAW connoisseur! Logic Pro was the software I settled on, it's simple layout and intuitive design really appealed to me. For anyone out there wanting to start music production and finding it difficult I would always recommend trying a new DAW, it made all the difference for me!

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

Avicii, Avicii, Avicii!!!!

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?

Answer:

An artist I would love to collaborate with is Jasmine Thompson, I first heard her vocals on the track Funny she did with Zedd and started listening to her acoustic covers. I think she has a fantastic voice that would be really awesome to make some music around.
