samueldavid Perspective on Siren

I wouldn't. I would just play them this EP.

I feel like going to big bass shows in the DMV with Bass Rush or Steez influences me a TON with their heavy modern dubstep & bass house sound. I feeel like I've gone pretty heavy into that side of EDM, with a little bit of my own trappy/wookier spin. If I had to call it one thing, I'd call it 'Hybrid Bass' maybe?

The original Grateful Dead for sure! I had the opportunity to see Dead & Company a few years ago, and would've loved to have been there for the original concept of the band. Definitely super boundary-pushing, which is a huge reason I think Electronic & Jam -Band music compliment each other so well.

I defintely think I've taken out a lot of the more ambient/psychadelic aspects of my music and given it a more supercharged club-ready sound. That's not to say I don't still love softer more instrospective music, I'm just at a point where the harder hitting stuff is working for me haha.

I think my track 'Double Cup' would probably be my favorite. It's nothing super technically special, but I think it has a certain vibe and energy that I was never really able to figure out how to add in songs prior.

I've always had the desire, as a small kid I was always playing new instruments at home & school. I was about 13 when I discovered ableton, so I guess that's when I started seriously making my own stuff, and got this idea I wanted to be the "next Srkillex".

At the moment, definitely an artist like Subtronics or Ace Aura. I feel like those are some of my biggest inspirations these days and being able to bring my sound to that table would be a dream!
