Robert L Perspective on Once More

IT started early as a young child. My mother loved playing good r&b music. Saturday mornings we clean up the house to it.

It definitely started young but I didn't really tap into it until I was in college.

I'm Robert L. I love to sing and songwrite. Got many talents but my passion for music is my fun space. This is where I get to tell a story of real life memories or fantasies that will soon be reality. I want to create music that makes people feel good. I want people to actually love, LOVE again.

It definitely plays into r&b. Real music for real lovers.

My upbringing was rough but I was always surrounded by love. So it definitely masked anything crazy going on around me.

Well it will always evolve and change with different life experiences. Sometimes songs have more meaning depending on the things you've been through.

I believe it all depends on what I'm writing about.

Definitely Luther Vandross, he's one of the best male vocalist in my opinion that I've ever heard.

Alicia Keys, because I think she is amazing.

I always want people to feel good when they hear my music. I want them to want to love on somebody, give someone a hug who may need it, or just be an example of what love is really suppose to be.

Any way i can get it to the people. If I got to sit down and play it for you I will 🤣🤣🤣

At this point if I can make a person believe in love again, I did my job.

Staying true to what it is that I do. Staying in my own lane so that I never crash.

The whole experience. To throw all vulnerability our there with no safety net. To push past the fear of wondering will people love your music for what it is.

I'm a chef, I've owned my own restaurant. Food, music, and love is a happy place.

No matter what you have to keep going after your dreams. Sometimes LIFE can get in the way, but in order to have true happiness we must do the things we LOVE

I got alot of people not here anymore who would of loved to take a shot at the things they love In life. So my main goal is not to take my time for granted.
