Who are you and what do you do?

I'm Skyler. A singersongwriter and music producer currently based in Orlando Florida.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

My life has consisted of many trials and tribulations. This song demonstrates where my mentality is at today where I've come to the conclusion that I'm "One of One" and can conquer anything.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My earliest memory of listening to music is sining Sam Cooke "A Change is Gonna Come" with my mom around 7 years old.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

Music has always been my passion but I realized I wanted to make it my career in 10th grade.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

This song embodies multiple genres of R&B, Pop, and Indie Acoustics.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

Ironically the project that this song is on is called "Ever Evolving". My sound is constantly evolving to a more authentic version of myself where I continue to push the bounds of my versatility between genres and moods. I've done a lot of R&B and Hip Hop but now my vocals are moving more towards Pop.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?

Answer:

At this given moment "One of One" is my favorite song because of the uplifting spirit it has. I believe this song can reach the masses and change lives.
