Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I am kelvin and i am a creator.. I do a lot of things.. travel, play basketball, swim, play piano, tounge drums all type of stuff.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

well. when i first thought of the idea of the song. i was just thinking about a sound.. once i found the sound i came up with the concept. and the concept came from an experience i had with a soulmate i once dated and how it felt when we were together.. unforgettable experiences and a true connection.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

i grew up around mostly women. my grandma loved james brown, al green. my mom love mary j blidge and my dad loved more hip hop like 2pac and biggie. i loved all of it growing up. it all sounded good to me =].. when i started listening to music on my own i went even further and dived into alternative and emo rock music, punk, techno.. so im kind of well rounded.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

ummm. i think the universe told me to start again one day.. and i did? this was like just a few months ago. i used to write as a kid but never took it seriously.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

I wouldnt really know.. i feel it has the hiphop vibe.. R&B but can also be a lil poppy without some words i use.. so im not sure.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

i just started 3 months ago.. but it did evolve. i feel like my style is conceptual and experience based.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?

Answer:

what themes? i havent explored themes yet

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?

Answer:

chris brown... cuz he can rap and sing.. kind of what i do. he can dance better than me right now but if i practiced as much as he do i think itll be some good competition.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?

Answer:

i dont have a favorite artist. i jsut listen to good music.. so i would say, as long as it make your soul sing its probably a good song.

Answer:

cosmic.. that pretty much sums it up =]

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

micheal jackson... because his shows was lit! and he spoke aboout world issues. that would have been nice

Answer:

How have you seen platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Youtube etc. influence the music industry today?

Answer:

yes all the time! haha.. this feels like a rhetorical question

Do you have a distinct way of making music, how do you work?

Answer:

kind of.. I go with the flow of how i feel.. if the beat goes with how i feel on a given day.. i start writing!

What inspired this song?

Answer:

my soulmate!

What drives you to continue writing music?

Answer:

I think its about time to change the game.. that is what im here for
