Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I am an artist/ musician. I've been writing lyrics since 96 at 10 yrs old. I started recording in 2004 and haven't looked back since. I am a hip hop emcee

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

The song was originally recorded in 2008 to a different beat. I thought I lost the track over the years because it wasn't in my volt/catalog. This song is about what goes on in clubs everyday. Haven't been to the club since 21 yrs of again, so in retrospect I just wrote what I remembered it and recorded it.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

1988 I was 2 yrs old. 88 was the year everybody dropped an album that year, I mean everyone. I couldn't get enough of it

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

1997 at 11yrs old. I did a talent show for my school. First we performed for the students then that same night we performed for the parents and students the place was packed wall to wall. I'm just a 6th grader at the time. When crowd errupted after I finished the song. I knew exactly what I wanted to be, an entertainer.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

This release plays into the hip hop genre. A club song with hella bass. 

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

My sound has evolved by me teaching myself how to mix and master for quality sound.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I touch on different themes In my music... Battle rapping, politics, love, self knowledge, independence, and history just to name a few 

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Lil Wayne. Why? Because he's on of the best rapper alive. Plus Ive been listening to him since 97-98. I watched him grow up and transition.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

It has a old school feel mixed with the new school beats. 

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

I was born in the 80's and raised in the 90s. Nuff said. I studied every body style. You can hear a little bit of them inside me.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Will Smith, he's the reason I wanted to rap. Before I could listen to curse words in music. I was listening to dj jazzy Jeff and the fresh prince 

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

I never had a favorite song. I just treated them all a like like they were my children 

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Lil Wayne, Ludacris, and DMX. Because these are certified lyricist 

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

A sold out crowd in some big arena 

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

Anybody with good work ethic and consistency 

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

At work ha ha

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

Where ever the song takes them that's the way I want them to feel.

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

Dedicated, always ready, and charismatic 

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

Anyway I can get it to their ears

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

Practice? ( Allen Iverson voice). Ha ha but no. Nothing much has changed in my practice on how I do my routine 

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

It was the last year of highschool and everyone else knew I did music so they wished me luck In the future 

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

Success is something that's organic it's natural. When you succeed it puts all the doubters to rest

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

I plan to bring back the retro style of hip hop/ R&B. That old school vibe

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

For the most part a puppet. No one takes hip hop serious anymore, everybody is doing it so how to people choose. Rathering it get pushed in your face everyday. We should be a staple in society but rappers are not taken seriously so the role we play to entertain, society doesn't care about that.

Name a song that best represents success to you, and why?
Answer:

There's too many I never had just one song to describe anything. It's always been layers to the songs. It might be one verse, it might be a hook,  or thee entire song. It just depends on who the artist are

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Losing music files from a bad hard drive and Computer virus that corrupt the entire CPU 

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

I never had an embarrassing moment. I remember I forgot some words doing spoken word in highschool, but it wasn't embarrassing 

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

Change the 360 deals, because people with real talent gets unnoticed and it's not fair 

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

Manual labor & Security 

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

Everything started with Inspiration and motivation that's part of my formula that helps me process making music 

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

Never lonely, but I've always kept to myself

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

It all comes from experience vs the unknown with is the future 

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

There are many of them, I could choose 

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

The creative part the artistic ways of expression

Answer:

I can't be compared to anyone. I sound like my self not anyone else 

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

It's 80% business and 20% music

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

Yes I was a child prodigy advanced in Fine arts. I do it well, why not have it for a job and get to travel the world, getting paid to do it. That sounds like the best feeling in the world. So some one like me is looking forward to get to that experience 

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To not be a one hit wonder. Want to stay around for 10-20 yrs. Then I'll be done
