MICALL Perspective on The Remedy

I am a music artist! I sing the songs that I write/co-write, and I play the piano. I collaborate with producers, artists and songwriters.

Listening to beats and/or making melodies on the piano usually inspires the lyrics.

Collaborating with others is a lot of fun and expands my musical creations. Working alone can be cathartic and has its time and place, too.

Farro Jarro (co-writer and producer on 'The Remedy') and I created this song in about 3-4 hours. Farro Jarro made the beat and then lyrics, melodies, harmonies started flowing for us both!

My body is pulling me do it. I believe that God has placed this desire of music in my heart.

To lift up people's spirits, to help them remember they are not alone in their feelings or experiences, to give them hope, to encourage them to live their best lives, to encourage them to be their authentic selves. In a sense, it's sort of like the role of a therapist but to a much larger audience!

Lady Gaga because I know it would be fun and energetic! I would also love to collaborate with Incubus. Their lyrics speak to me.
In another life, I would have loved to collaborate with Kurt Cobain and Chester Bennington.

It makes me feel empowered and hopeful.

Lady Gaga because she has a positive energy and she knows how to empower her audience!
