BTS IS ON FIRE!

The Bulletproof Boys, or more commonly known as BTS, are definitely on FIRE! After teasing the eagerly awaiting fans with their music video of the "Epilogue: Young Forever", they immediately delivered another blow by dropping the music video of "Fire", much to the delight and excitement of the fans.

BTS's latest album, "Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa: Young Forever", which is a compilation album, includes the best tracks from their first two albums, "Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa Pt. 1" and "Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa Pt. 2", as well as five new tracks. The epic and super catchy track "Fire" definitely piqued my interest. I admit that I wasn't entirely enthusiastic about this album after finding out that it was just a compilation album. Moreover, I wasn't that into the first track that they released ("Epilogue: Young Forever"). It was a bit humdrum and lacking for me.

However, as soon as I heard the first beat of the song "Fire", my heartbeat started racing. I felt a spine-tingling anticipation as my ears slowly absorbed the beat and the melody. It wasn't too long since I started listening to it that I immediately exclaimed, "Damn, this is so good!" It was the same feeling of "electric shock" and inexplicable sensations running through my body when I first listened to their song "Dope". In fact, if you play the two songs right after one another, the transition will blow your mind. I swear! As if the song was not sick and epic enough, the music video was equally mind-blowing and intense! I daresay that the choreography in this song is the most challenging and insanely difficult that they have had, so far.

Not only did the boys slay the local charts in Korea, with "Fire" debuting number 1 in most Korean charts and even achieving their first real-time "all-kill" on the Melon chart, they also proved how strong and united their fans are with their music video racking up 5 million views (via 1theK channel and iBigHit channel) on YouTube in just a day! According to allkpop.com, "most popular artists get maybe about 2 million views after 24 hours", so garnering 5 million views in a little over a day is quite a feat. But, wait! It doesn't stop there! BTS has already "taken over the U.S. iTunes Music Videos charts" too! The music video for "Fire" is currently number one and "a total of eleven BTS videos are in the top 100. The videos include both old and new songs all of which are fan favorites!" Now, how dope is that?!

The song has the trademark K-POP feel to it. It's upbeat, dance-able, infectious and a bit dizzying. The instrumental, special-effects-heavy chorus where the boys just kept on screaming "Fire!" with a few Korean lines was not exactly unique (with K-POP songs), but I still loved it so much! The rap parts, especially Suga’s, were astounding and spectacular. And the 'bow wow wow' part by V was my favorite. Everything about this song - from the rhythm to the dance choreography screamed "Dope" and I guess that's why I got hooked in an instant.

Apparently, "Fire" is not the only song that is breaking the Internet, according to designtrend.com, "They achieved real-time "all-kill" when three of BTS's new tracks occupied the top three of the Melon chart, with "Fire" at no. 1, "Save Me" at no. 3 and "Epilogue: Young Forever" rounding up the top three."

With the number of views still climbing and the song slaying charts here and there, "Fire" is definitely the next "Dope". This will surely put the boys on a pedestal and drive their fans crazier than they already are.
