It's not the best quality, but the video above is the Lemon Twigs performing the single "baby" at the Lollapalooza music festival 2017. One of the main reasons I really like lollapalooza is that it gives you so many different bands to see, I was very excited when I saw that the Lemon Twigs had a set! The concert was delayed an hour which turned out the be great because otherwise, I would've missed it. Thankfully I was there see to see them play a few of their songs and witness their interesting style they had about them. Four people stood on stage; both Brian and Michael and then a bassist and keyboardist/vocalist.
What I found to be very interesting about their performance was how they switched instruments. Brian would be singing and playing guitar for a song and then once that song was over he would switch to the drums and sing. Michael who was on the drums would grab a guitar and take the front of the stage. It seemed like a cycle, it was so cool to see this kind of flexibility in a band's abilities. There was a lot of different sounds to hear, but I really liked their single "these words", which they played as their last song of the day. I think these guys have a lot of heart and passion for what they're doing, they believe in their lyrics and their ability. They have a lot of work to do as far as stage performance goes, but overall I love the different sounds and the originality of their music.
