Panic! At The Disco’s New Album Will Be The Death of You

Death of a Bachelor is Panic! At The Disco’s fifth studio album released this January 2016. What makes this one mind-blowing is that the entire album was recorded and written by lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Brendon Urie, including some external writers. It debuted at number one in the US Billboard 200, making it the band’s first number one album. This album truly portrays how talented Brendon Urie is and just a few more songs showing how powerful his voice is.

This album consists of 11 songs including Death of a Bachelor, Emperor’s New Clothes, and Victorious. It’s got a good mix of tragedy and bliss with the collection of songs. In an interview, Brendon Urie stated that the album was inspired by his wife Sarah Urie and the lifestyle they had that was so far from his old one. We can see Panic! At The Disco recently performing their single Death of a Bachelor on Conan and LA Devotee on Good Morning America.

The album has great songs that will give you goose bumps, however like any album there are still songs that can be further developed. The single Death of a Bachelor especially shows just how far Brendon Urie’s voice range can go. The band’s old “dark” and “unique” style is still evident but with a dash of modern pop. This is a salute to Panic! At the Disco for another great job at showing us that rock is not dead.
