David Bowie Experience

Not the real David Bowie experience, but Bowie Exhibition experience. Two years ago, a friend of mine and I had an idea to visit London for only three days. It was easy to organise since I lived in London for years and have a cousin there and a friend. Sleeping was sorted. Ryanair had flights directly from Zadar to London, twice a week. And there was the BIG David Bowie Exhibition that HAD to be visited. I am a David Bowie fan and always have been. But that friend of mine is fanatic about David Bowie. She is in a happy relationship with love of her life, musician ofcourse. But the only other man she could imagine herself with was David Bowie! Ha ha!!! But hey, the least we could do, is go and see the exhibition. First day we did the tour around London and visited top places she needed to see because it was her first time there. But the second day was THE day! Buying the tickets ad entering the exhibition. We just stepped inside, I turned to see where she was and I saw gigantic tears strolling down her cheeks and her bottom lip trembling. "Bye, bye! See you at the exit!" I said quickly, people were already staring at her, so I have decided to go the opposite way from her. It was fascinating, seeing the lines Bowie wrote with his hand on pieces of paper, his famous costumes and interviews, videos and collaborations. Sometimes there are stars that you take for granted. It's like he's been there forever and you can not imagine your life without their existence. Even if you didn't listen to rock or pop and listened to something completely different, sometime you would come accross his songs and videos, and wouldn't be able not to notice the uniqueness of that human being. We are all unique. But he made it possible to show the world who he is and the importance of his being. Bowie was a great influence on the lives of young people, showing them the right way. Youngsters looked up to him and his existence made a positive difference to this world. So, David Bowie, I just wanted to say, thank You for being who You were!A friend of mine and I really did meet at the exit, enjoyed the silence for some time referring on our experience that we will remember for life.
