Lightning Bolt is a band from Providence, Rhode Island, USA. It consists of two brilliant musicians: Brian Chippendale (drums, vocals and some weird masks) and Brian Gibson (bass). They play noise rock. A very intense, rough and fierce noise rock, I would say. Their live shows are glorious; guys do not play on stage, they prefer playing on the ground. Brian wears self-made masks, which makes the whole thing look like some eccentric, funny, though horrific ritual.
Lightning Bolt's sound is hard to forget. Metal waves are in the air once you turn any of their songs on. Aggressively beautiful, nervous, hysterical and technically perfect sounds make you want to grab your skin and throw it away so it won’t limit you when you dance.
