Lianne La Havas's Vibe is "Unstoppable" in her Second Album
The girl who captured everybody's attention since her debut album "Is Your Love Big Enough?". Lianne La Havas comes from England, as a gorgeous and charismatic young lady with a pure and sincere golden voice. She has many talents besides her singing, such as great composing skills, poet, guitarist etc. Born and raised in England, in a city of opportunities, including great arts and one of my favorite cities in the World, London.
"Blood" is Lianne La Havas's second studio album and it's released at the very end of July 2015 by the Warner Bros Records. It is a Neo-Soul jazzy album where you can find Lianne's name on the list on almost every track as a composer except for "What You Don't Do". The Album includes 10 songs in total or in other words, it is a 40 minutes enjoyment in duration. This wonderful album received a nomination for "Best Urban Contemporary Album" at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in 2016. Lianne La Havas's biggest inspiration to write new music and songs for this record is her trip with her mother to Jamaica, that is considered as a reconnection with her roots and from where is she coming.
The first song on the album is "Unstoppable", and it is a powerful and at the same time a positive song with a lot of hope and life in it. The arrangement, the groove, and the ambient sounds in a combination of her beautiful voice are astonishing. As a second track "Green & Gold"is being listed. It's a track with a "dirty" drum vibe accompanied by a great melody and lyrics sung by Lianne La Havas. My favorite tracks on this Album are "What You Don't Do", "Tokyo", "Midnight", "Never Get Enough". All of them are unique in their own way. In the way that only Lianne La Havas does it. For some of these songs, there is also a video content that you can see on YouTube.
However, the best impression that this "wonder woman" gave me was me checking her live performances (mostly on Youtube) and feeling that energy that she is spreading all over the place with her Hollywood smile and style. I think being creative, in other words: thinking outside the box, are the key points to achieve true happiness and fulfillment in our hearts. Don't be afraid to step out of the comfort zone, like Lianne La Havas is doing it, and she is making a terrific job, with a lot of success!
