She is not only a great-grandaughter of Ted Watkins, the famous African-American civil rights activist, creator and leader of the Labour Comunity Action Committee in Watts, LA, she is former X-Factor Pop star, and she is a proud member of the Dj Carisma`s "Young California" movement. Young Miss Mali Nicole is the next big thing in R`n`Bass/Hip Hop world. This extremely talented female artist has exeptional tonal spectre, the Mila J meets Beyonce touch of vocal notation, and the fire that burns perfectly on this neverending sunny day of the new generations R`n`Bass sub-genre.
The girl is an instant smash explosion of success, managed to sold a 30,000 album copies straight from her family garage. It`s like she was born to do this. Every verse, every word and act seems to be like a natural thing for the young Diva and she`s got a fat library background to support that fact. Now after multiple successes with covers from Omarion`s "M.I.A", Miguel`s "Adorn", Aaliyah`s "I Care For You" and more, she turned the game around and finally started working on her own music and on Dec 18th, 2015 iTuned her first album named "Central Ave, Vol.1". It`s a nine-track project, two singles already widely popular, the "Showin` Off (Miror Dance)" feat. Raven Felix and the single which just published video version you have a chance to preview in this article`s background "A Hunnid" feat. AD.
Now, I haven`t got the chance to hear the "Central Ave, Vol.1" yet, but after hearing this 100 on point jam, besides the hot cover interpretations, it`s just a matter of minutes after the completeness of this writing, for me to snatch it from iTunes, no lie. I can only say that if you skip on this wonderful music whiz and artistic soul of a young woman Queen, you will be missing a universe lot on the new gen Hip Hop culture. So just, don`t.
