I can never get enough satisfied while listening to the music of Stevie Wonder! I would like to share with you guys a song by Stevie Wonder from the studio album “A Time to Love” that was released in 2005. This song is the first single from the album where Stevie is rapping rather than singing! “So What the Fuss” became a hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and went top 40 on Billboard's R&B chart. How does that sound, you can hear on the YouTube link of the song I have attached on this blog.
The song is based on a funky groove, featured Prince on guitar and En Vogue on backing vocals. Now guess who is playing the Drums, Bass, Keyboards, and other percussion? Who else except the man himself Stevie Wonder! The song starts with a conversation between them, but the real party starts when Stevie says:- Prince, pop it! Then BOOM, Prince goes in his element.I find the lyrics very much fierce and appropriate. When I first heard this song I was blown away by the way they do it and how they all sound together! Superb!
I like to mention that this Single is his first since 1995's Conversation Peace, and for sure it is a right shot! With this track he announced that he is back on the track, and ready for way more to go.
Stevie Wonder is a true “Wonder” to the world! He is a definition of a musician. Whatever he is doing: rapping, singing, playing or else he is doing it with a class and with а true sense and feeling. Let’s share his music!
