That being said, seeing Tomlinson craft a solitary world from his newest album, easily suggests that everyone has been missing out on what Tomlinson can bring to the table. We see Tomlinson having an open heart, undoubted truth, and a hell of a lot of honesty?
"Back to You" features Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals, who all in all add to the track. Somehow, "Back to You" does not fall under the category of another pop tune. "Back to You" falls under a different category more known for blunt honesty. Tomlinson is completely relatable throughout the entire song. Whether previous One Direction fans intend to listen or, someone has discovered "Back to You" on their own, this track brings up all the horrid details of engaging relationships. Whether you hate and love aspects of a person's character or the drama someone brings to the table, Tomlinson doesn't back away from reality.
My gut instinct keeps telling me that Tomlinson has something brewing beneath the surface. After reading what Tomlinson has stated to the media, along with his newest songs I have gained even more respect for the singer-songwriter.
Uncertainty typically can transform an individual into two things. One is a talented creator being able to express even the harsh details of life, or becoming an approachable voice for a new generation searching for answers.
Throughout "Back to You" we see and hear Tomlinson questioning, asking, and coming to terms with the present circumstances. Ultimately reflecting Tomlinson's own life and for a brief moment, vulnerability became this singer's greatest strength.
