Return of a Dynamic Duo

It’s been, how long, since this duo has teamed up to produce an awesome song? I’m not really sure but I remember when they did, the outcome was spectacular.  The beat and groove that the two produced made you definitely move especially when it hit the clubs.  The two brought a diversity that, although was different, definitely matched.  The outcome was a dynamic duo that was bound for hits on the top 10 lists.

Recently, it was announced that they were planning a comeback and will obviously be teaming up again.  Upon hearing the news, I remember the old music video of “Let Me Blow Ya Mind”.  I wondered what style and sound they were going to surprise us with.  But in the announcement, this time it would be a tour that would bring back the memories.  Maybe it was no new tracks but bringing it all back was just as awesome.  Gwen Stefani and Eve are going on tour and aims to support Gwen Stefani’s first No. 1 solo album This Is What The Truth Feels Like.

With the power of social media, Gwen Stefani posted the news over her various platforms in social media on April 18. Many of her followers were probably surprised and eager to get the further scoop on schedule arrangements.  Basically, I’m sure they wanted all the information about the tour.  The tour is scheduled to launch by July 12.  Eve is scheduled to be the opening act for all the tour dates.

Gwen Stefani and Eve worked together on their first songs over a decade ago. These songs were for Eve's hit song "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" in 2001 and then Gwen Stefani's early solo single "Rich Girl" in 2004.  Both songs peaked in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Eve's last studio album release was Lip Lock in 2013.

With the delightful news and upcoming tour, I’m sure all listeners for both musical artists will band together for an awesome show. We all can hardly wait for any footage to be posted. Here’s their single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind”, back in 2001:
