When we meet our “better half”, our "partner-in-crime”, or the best term of all “soulmate”, in the start of that beautiful relationship we imagine a long and lasting life together that has no awareness of an end. We feel unstoppable, filled with compassion, and ultimate affection. There is no best way to describe in words what true love is but we can definitely feel it. To feel it in life and beyond is truly a blessing and definitely continues as a promise of bonding especially between two individuals. Nathan Sykes released his song “Over and Over Again” in November 2015. Recently, a remix version was released in January 2016, featuring Ariana Grande.
It is the classic tale of a young boy who is caught within admiration after sighting a beautiful young girl, whom soon becomes the target of his heart. He of course tries to pursue her but he isn’t so successful simply because of wrong timing. Apparently, she did show interest in him and this sign of interest---whether a smile or giggle---that women so gracefully deliver gives any young man the signal to not give up. He eventually goes on a date with her and charms her. In a nutshell, that is the start of romance creating that everlasting spark of love. They continue into a life of raising a family and a life-long venture filled with memories.
With my short and summarized version of how simple and short love can start, it may not seem so exciting, even somewhat cliché. Sometimes, that’s how we all may feel, as if numb to what we should actually appreciate. It’s when the other is no longer around or our “other half” was lost. It’s during this time that we learn just how precious and special it was to live a life full of love, to share love and be loved. All that is left are memories of a life that has just passed. We then learn to cherish the memories and moments until such time we can be with our loved ones once again.
“Over and Over Again” is a very heartfelt song that only speaks of true love in life, romance, and longing to only be with the one you love. Basically, it can be a true lesson in life---that before your time ends, you have expressed all your love and made sure your partner felt the love you have and will continue to have limitlessly.
