It’s Ellie Goulding, like you have never known before. Apart from the quite brilliant pop music this powerhouse of a female artist has produced over the years, Ellie Goulding also has this amazing talent of creating near genius covers with the absolute brilliant meddling of vocal chords and her unique style! I have talked about her covers before in my previous posts and I thought it was the perfect time to introduce to my readers some of my favorite covers from her that they might have missed out on.
You see, I was really into Ellie before she made it big in the music biz. The time when she was just starting out, she had something about her that stood out. The tailored vibrato technique and that curious staccato blended very beautifully with her raw electronic music – something about the whole process was very “organic” in my opinion. That something, I often find missing in some of her new stuff.
However, I love looking forward to her covers. And, some of them are no less than mind blowing! Lend an ear to some of her covers that I think totally smash it, and do let me know if I have missed out some of the other great ones that could be included in the list!
"All I Want" (Kodaline Cover)
"Heartbeats" (Jose Gonzalez)
"High For This" (Weeknd)
"Hanging On" (Active Child)
