When the bassist Stinky Lou decided to abandon music waters and to open his own bar (Lou's bar), the rest of the band knew that they will at least have a place where they can render their first gig. That is how Mathias Dalle and Fabian Bernardo aka The Goon Mat and Lord Bernardo took the stage at Lou's bar one night and started the new chapter of their career that lead to their first LP. Raw and ferocious Blues Trash Boogie remained their signature style, and the energy they invested into their new material is truly impressive. Take Off Your Clothes was recorded and produced by Jim Diamond (The Dirtbombs, The White Stripes, The Devils) on a secret location in southern France. From the first tones of Because Of You, you can hear the influences of Junior Kimbrough, R.L. Burnside and T-Model Ford, while the further listening to the tracks such as Little Girl and Conception of The Blues resembles the raw power of Iggy and the Stooges. My favorite songs are Take Off Your Clothes and Get Down With You.
