Not Quite Right In The Head

The debut album from The Rose Bubbles is f*cking BRILLIANT. It's not for people who take selfies or sheep who do what "influencers" tell them to do.

Are you tired of hip hop? I am. Hip hop hasn't been interesting or relevant since the demise of Public Enemy decades ago. Now it's all "me me me" and "I wanna be a billionaire." Dull dull dull.

"Not Quite Right In The Head"... the cover says it all. It's insane. But the message is quite sane: that humanity is doomed, which seems pretty accurate to me. Guess what? You're not going to be a billionaire. And if you are... it will be for something banal and ridiculous like making some app that no one really needs but that they all buy anyway... for some odd reason.

There's something wrong with a world where collecting sneakers is a multi-million dollar industry.

And The Rose Bubbles will point out for your where it's going wrong. Guns, pollution, oppression, apathy, hate.... we are all indeed doomed.

Oh... what kind of music is it? Some kind of 1990's industrial psychedlic stoner grunge electro techno stuff. It's not to be pigeonholed, so The Rose Bubbles will never be popular... which is great. Popular means crap most of the time.

I really enjoy tthis album, and you might too. Or not. I guess I don't really care what the great unwashed masses think, wink wink.

But if you think you're "woke"... maybe this is for you. Enjoy the apocalypse!
