Punk/Grunge/Garage what do these three genres have in common? Pure, unfiltered, raw blis when ti comes to playing loud and without hestiation. The band Dasher have been playing out of Atlanta and be the grace of the Punk Gods...this band has not been given a proper spotlight as of yet. Hopfully that will change in due time, nevertheless Dasher is a trio with their drummer also being the lead singer. More importantly Dasher are a band to see live, high energy is a part of it but even better is the fact that some songs are just meant to be played live.
Dasher's track 'Soviet' places a most prominent promise with the bands dedicated addiction to building a verse and chorus. What can we say, you will not be disappointed, 'Soviet' crashes through your headphones as if you where already at the show. If this track does not have your head banging from left to right, obviously that appreciation for Punk has left your genes and infiltrated to another residence.
A nice touch is the repeated word 'Soviet' at the end; leading to a catastrophic climax of 'SO-VI-ET' blaring louder than ever.
