I have always been a huge fan of Kevin Bacon ever since I first saw Footloose. After that I watched anything he was in. Until 2009, I did not know that not only was Bacon an awesome actor, but he also had a great singing voice. It was then that I discovered that actor/musician Kevin Bacon and his brother, film-and-TV composer Michael Bacon, have been playing music as The Bacon Brothers since 1995.
I went to You Tube and started searching and listening to all the music by The Bacon Brothers. I first heard their song “Go My Way”, they asked fans to submit videos of them dancing to the song, and they incorporated those videos into their official video for the song.
I thought it was so great of them to get the fans involved and it made me like The Bacon Brothers even more. Then I discovered the song Boys in Bars. This is another great song. One of my favorites is Guilty of the Crime by The Bellamy Brothers w/ The Bacon Brothers (Starring Shannen Doherty). Not only is the song great, but the video with it is as well.
The Bacon Brothers also perform often with Hall and Oates, and one of my favorites is When The Morning Comes. I hope to one day be able to see The Bacon Brothers live. If you have not listened to The Bacon Brothers yet, check them out. They have a lot of great music and you will see a whole other side to Kevin Bacon.
