Due to production delay, Katy Perry postpones the start of her tour.

Katy Perry says she is delaying the start of her new tour due to "inevitable production delays". The pop star's tour "Witness: The Tour" will now begin on September 19 in Montreal. "Important elements of the set design of my tour could not be available for rehearsal until this week," Perry said in a statement Thursday. The tour was originally scheduled to begin Sept. 7 in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets purchased for the first presentations may be used on new dates. There is also the option of refund at the same points of purchase. "I regret any inconvenience this may cause," Perry said. The singer also announced that Carly Rae Jepsen, Noah Cyrus and Purity Ring will be opening their show tour.
