Aretha Franklin plans to retire in her native Detroit and open a nightclub in the city. The Queen of Soul told the Detroit Free Press that she will move back after spending years in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and wants to open a small club she would call Aretha's. The 75-year-old singer says she would like to sing at that club "from time to time" and host Detroit's favorite artists. The star announced her retirement this year and said that 2017 would be her last gig. He plans to keep recording and is now working on finishing a new album.
