September 1st is the date set for the release of the next album by British band Motörhead. This group founded in London in 1975 will bring together in its new record material eleven covers of mythical rock themes.
So far, it has been known that the album will be titled Under Cover will feature unpublished versions.
Among the most representative songs that will be in the project is a new cover of the song "Heroes" of the late David Bowie. "It's one of Bowie's best songs, and it seemed to me that we could do it right. In fact, that's what happened: Lemmy ended up loving this version," Phil Campbell, Motörhead guitarist, said in a statement. "We were happy with the result when we recorded it, and we continue to be."
The version was recorded during the sessions of the Bad Magic disc, of 2015, and was one of the last recordings of Kilmister before its death, happened in 2015.
Rolling Stone magazine said songs from the "God Save the Queen", Judas Priest ("Breaking the Law"), Dio ("Starstruck") and Metallica ("Whiplash") will also be included.
