Britney Spears will have her own musical on Broadway

According to the Forbes website, a Broadway musical is being prepared with songs by pop princess Britney Spears. Larry Rudolph, his manager, met Jerry Mitchell, the renowned choreographer and theater director who counts among his credits to the Kinky Boots and On Your Feet! - the latter based on the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan - to shed the first ideas.

Also, it was hinted that the musical will not be strictly autobiographical but that Britney's hits will be used to create a fictional narrative. While this is just beginning, it's hard to get excited about listening to hits like "Toxic", "Everytime" and "... Baby One More Time" on Broadway.
