Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell dies

On the night of yesterday , May 17, Soundgarden vocalist and guitarist Chris Cornell suddenly passed away. This was reported by his manager Brian Bumbery , who was next to him while he was performing one of the tours of the grunge icon band who had recently announced that they were going to start working on a new album.

Cornell , perhaps one of the most particular voices of rock not only helped found Soundgarden in 1984 and the band became one of the most representative of the grunge movement during the 90's but also was founding member of the band Temple of The Dog together To members of Pearl Jam , with whom he recently did a small tour of concerts. He was also part of the supergroup Audioslave alongside former members of Rage Against the Machine , Tom Morello , Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk . He also had an important career as a soloist.
