McCartney preparing new album

Paul McCartney revealed that working on a new album with Greg Kurstin, the producer who helped British singer Adele to get his worldwide hit "Hello".

In a radio interview this weekend, the former member of The Beatles said he was "in the middle" of a new album, the first since 2013.

He said that working with Kurstin, co-author of Adele piano ballad that became a worldwide success.

The producer has also worked with Australian singer Sia and alternative rock icon Beck.

"My only concern is that people will say," Oh, Paul McCartney will sing the theme song of the month, "said the musician in an interview with BBC Radio 6 Music.

"I guess you always think the worst of it, but he's a great guy," says McCartney, describing himself. "I do what I love to do," he added.

The artist, 74, said he was not concerned about the image that will leave, alluding to the death in the last months of legends like David Bowie or Prince.

The artist said his former teammate John Lennon was murdered outside his home in New York in 1980, made him once a question on this subject.

"It was funny because I would never have imagined that John would have any concern about that but is one of those things that concern people.? McCartney also paid tribute to Chuck Berry, rock and roll pioneer, who died days ago.

"Many copied his style on the guitar, had a huge influence," said the singer. "For me the lyrics are like American poetry. They capture the spirit of high school, rock and roll, cars ..."

The classic "Come Together" by the Beatles was inspired by "You Can not Catch Me" by Chuck Berry, triggering a dispute with the record label rocker.
