Jakob Armstrong is a promising young American rock. If he manages to last over time it is perhaps globally. In his blood has the qualities of a great musician like his father was Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer of Green Day. The youngest project has already begun and has decided to jump with the stage name of Jakob Danger and has already released three songs on their official SoundCloud account.
Jakob Danger is 18 years old, is already publishing their songs and recently signed with the label Burger Records to release its first album in EP format. And it is that the influence of his father marked early on, since 2015, ie since age 16 was already publishing their songs.
In a recent interview for the magazine NME said:.. "My music is not at all related to my father's personal, it's different ... If someone says I sound like he's probably because I'm your son is my voice it is how I sing. I never took lessons from anything before, is natural. " Jakob is openly fan of The Strokes and Beach Fossils and considers them as his main influence.
The first three issues published are "H3LP", "BLEU" and "A START". His music is far from the punk pop of Green Day and their sound is closer to the garage rock and post-punk. His older brother, Joey, plays drums in a band called Swmrs, who also signed with the independent label Burger Records.
