The spectators, excited by the spectral presence of divo, whose real name was Alberto Aguilera Valadez, swayed and hummed the songs they played the singers, amplified by 110 speakers.

The public could also visit an exhibition of traditional costumes and other objects of Juan Gabriel, who was born in Parácuaro, in the southwestern state of Michoacan on January 7, 1950 but grew up in the northern city of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

This was the first tribute organized by the artist's family, although others had already done Ciudad Juarez and the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, organized by authorities.

On February 6, Ivan, Jean and Hans Aguilera, children of the late singer, said in the US that for them it was a "must" organize the concert tribute to his father.

"I felt I had a duty and was to honor my dad," said Ivan, 29, in an interview with Efe with his two brothers.

The brothers pose published in a few months some of the unreleased songs that John Gabriel was producing in his recording studio before his death.
