A group of hackers "hacked" the Twitter account of the company Sony Music in which the false news of the death of pop star Britney Spears released today, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

"RIP @britneyspears" read the tweet released by Sony Music account that realized the false news, followed by a sad smiley face and the label "#RIPBritney 1981-2016".

Later in the Twitter page of the record company a new tweet in which it was reported that the artist died "by accident" and later give more details of the case, also followed by the same label and another emoticon of it was published sad face.

The Hollywood Reporter, which published the messages, which were finally withdrawn from the account of Sony Music, said about half an hour after the first tweet, appeared a new message that a group of hackers known as OurMine authorship was attributed the false news.

These messages were eventually dropped and Sony Music, which has not commented on the incident, left the old video features appearances by the singer on television. The messages of false news, however, have followed the social network re-tweeting despite having been deleted in the Sony Music Global.

Spears Brirtney published last August "Glory," his first album since "Britney Jean" in 2013 an album that did not have a good commercial response.
