This Dec. 11, the Colombian singer Juanes will sing at the concert that Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos who was elected as Nobel Peace Prize 2016 for all efforts to achieve peace in their country will honor.
Although in 2005 and 2007, the singer was presented to the annual tributes of winning the Nobel, this time is more emotional and important because the prize will be awarded for the first time to another Colombian.
The award will be given to President Santos on December 10 in the city of Oslo in Norway. The next day, will be held the concert in his honor at the Telenor Arena in Oslo in which renowned artists such as Halsey, Highasakite, Icona Pop and Sting will also be presented.
Through a statement, Juanes said he feels proud to be chosen once again by the Norwegian Committee to sing in the show important because it is one of the main by performing his music.
Last week the artist was presented at the gala of the Latin Grammys and was the person responsible for opening the event with his new song "Fire", typical of his new musical work "My plans are to love" whose release date is scheduled for next year.
