Caracas soon vibrate for two consecutive days with the best emerging talents of the rock-pop thanks to the National Union Rock Show Awards 2016.
The sixth edition of the event will be held on Saturday 05 and Sunday 06 November from 12:00 pm at the Plaza alfredo sadel of Caracas. Those in charge of the event is the Foundation Union Rock Show, and will be under the organization of Cyclops Productions with the collaboration of the mayor of Baruta.
As every year, the public will be responsible for choosing their favorites until Friday November 4, entering the virtual form found on the official website of the event: www.unionrockshow.com . Where you can vote between 30 categories including Song of the Year, Personality of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, national rock icon, band Union Rock Show and all others. Winners will be announced live on both days.
This year the awards will feature the special participation of the dance group Shadow Tribal, and Versed, A Lo Flamenko, Vargas, Gona and Apache bands, who will perform as special guests along with 16 national bands selected by the public . The group of selectors, The Mad Spoilers, will be in charge of music between intermediate presentations of the bands.
The Gona rapper tops the list with 7 nominations in categories including Best Hip Hop Artist, Best male voice, and Best Live Artist of the Year, among others. Meanwhile, Vargas and Apache are nominated for six categories, while Public and Versed Disorder feature 5 nominations each.

For this edition in the category Personality of the Year nominees are: Danna Alquati, David Capella, David Rondon, Enrique Marquez Paris, Marcos Rodriguez, Maria Pura, Melanio Escobar and Miguel Ignacio Mendoza (Nacho).
In the category "Best New Artist" as featured include: Micro TDH, Romphonics, and Luar; while in "EP of the Year" are yellow Gustavo Casas and looking, Bengal EP Charliepapa and You, My Favorite Place in the World of San Tomé, among the favorites.
Among the highlights as "Best Band / Artist International Relations" for this sixth edition are Gona, Candy Cyanide and Public Disorder.
The winners of the 30 categories will receive a certificate and editing 2016 statuette made in 3D printing, original design Mariliz Bettiol, digitized by Carlos Luis Flores and Andrés Galavis, joined by Daniele Nocera, whose pieces will be made with a mixture of filament ABS PLA and mounted on a wooden base and metal.
