Mexico City is a great city that annually receives a considerable amount of musical artists from all over the world. All these experiences are thanks to the big festivals with which the city. One of them is the Corona Capital Festival, which will be reaching its seventh edition on 18 and 19 November, with great artists such as The Killers, Air and LCD Soundsystem.
The Festival is a few years one of the most important being done in Latin America and is held every year at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez ago. The history of this event comes from 2010, when the Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento in Turn 4 of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, decided to make an annual festival of rock and alternative music with national and international artists. However, from 2013, he was left aside Latin American music, to rely exclusively on English-speaking bands.
There will be two days of music and recreational activities that count in one place with the best of rock music world. The poster covers more than thirty artists during their two days, completing the edition of 2016 with the following musicians: Lana del Rey, Suede, Pet Shop Boys, Animal Collective, Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker, Eagles of Death Metal, among others.
As important fact, the festival has had the likes of the following artists: Pixies, Interpol, Two Door Cinema Club, The Stroke, Moby, The Hives, Major Lazer, New Order, Snow Patrol, The Black Keys, Dinosaur Jr., Travis, Blonde, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg and many more.
