The beautiful Rihanna will be the lucky artist to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at the MTV Video Music Awards 2016 to be held on 28 August.

This award, won in its first edition by David Bowie, The Beatles and Richard Lester, is a recognition given to musicians who have had a profound impact on the so-called "MTV culture". Some of the winners go through Madonna, U2, Beyonce and even the controversial Kanye West.

The Barbadian singer is nominated 4 times. Best Female Video (for Work), Best Male Video (for his collaboration with Calvin Harris in This Is What You Came For) and Best Collaboration (for both songs already mentioned).

It could be a perfect night for Rihanna in which end up taking home five awards. The best of luck for her.
