The band Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliot released a cover of the legendary song by Ray Parker Jr, which is part of the new installment of the "Ghostbusters". However, despite the boldness of the group, this simple has not stuck, nor was pleasing to fans of the saga.
The song was released on the official website of FOB Youtube, from the moment the criticisms levied on the internet have been very negative for the original version of 1984. With a rockier version, is an attempt to "update" the iconic song Ray Parker Jr.
The classic theme was a resounding success in terms of sales registering more than three million copies sold and obtaining at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. On the other hand, it was nominated for Best Original Song in 1985 in the 57th edition the Academy Awards where lost to the issue of Sonora Bando of "the woman in Red" by Stevie Wonder, "I Just Called to Say I Love".
