For three years the island of Aruba has become a world reference in electronic music. Since 2013, the Aruba Tourism Bureau is organizing the "Aruba Electric Festival" event hosts the best DJs in the world and this 2016 is coming to its fourth edition. The festival will be organized by the twins Maurice and Karim Neme during Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 September.
Spokesman and co-organizer of the festival Darren Van Ommeren, said that "happy island" will become "the Isle of electronic music" during the event. The best international and local DJs say this in the maximum event featuring electronic music throughout the Caribbean.
The festival has been a success in previous editions, receiving more than 15,000 people each day from countries like Curacao, Bonaire, Surinam, Venezuela, USA, Brazil and Colombia. There is also the presence of countries like Holland, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Austria.
Artists and speakers who participate are Lil John, Chus & Ceballos, Dave Clarke, DJ Chukie, Erick Morillo, Fellow, Knife Party, Loco Dice, Maarten Vorwerk, Mike Henderson, Nicole Moudaber, Nervo, Afrojack, Party Squad, Paco Osuna , ALX, collective No No Sleep Eat, Partaii, REVOLT TV, Slash, Stacey Pullen and many others.
The main novelty of this year is the implementation of the concept of Lifestyle Boutique, where visitors will be assisted integrally with culinary tastings and the chance to meet the most entertaining places that Aruba offers.
But not all music and enjoyment. The festival is a space for knowledge and business taking place a series of meetings in the music industry, question and answer panels with experts and master classes.
