The University of Puerto Rico announces an event in which a fusion of salsa and gastronomy promises, and that will take place on 28 May.

Trombonist William Cepeda's Boricua lead the event. There main themes of the salsa will be heard, as the "wildcat" by Israel Plata and played by Ismael Rivera; "Trucutu", created and performed by "Chamaco" Ramirez; "Chinese Eyes" Rogelio "Kito" Velez and recorded by El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico; or "Quimbara" by Fernando Rivas and Luis G. Santeiro and interpreted at the time by the immortal Celia Cruz.

Joel Adorno, Jose Luis de Jesus Seis de Barrio, Liberty Rolon and Ruth Tosado are some of the musicians who will participate in the event, which announced the alma mater itself: "The university welcomes the sauce old school with 'Salsa, taste and control' concert, but just will accompany the rhythms of guajira and bolero. "

Need to see how the rice and beans and ripe bananas with pork accompany these musical flavors.
